Technical SEO Specialist – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute on-page SEO strategies across more than 30 country-specific websites, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.

• Oversee and deliver technical SEO tasks within our project management system, collaborating closely with IT and development teams.

• Implement schema markup, structured data, and rich results for various formats such as Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, and FAQ.

• Correct hreflang issues, perform international SEO debugging, and maintain consistency in ccTLDs and subdomains.

• Ensure proper sitemap, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexation hygiene across all market versions.

• Execute tactical enhancements for Core Web Vitals, including image optimization, lazy loading, and addressing render-blocking issues.

• Manage redirect mapping and conduct post-launch quality assurance for migrations and changes in categories.

• Monitor Google Search Console daily to identify crawl errors, indexation drops, and ranking challenges.

• Perform localization QA on SEO components across translated content.

• Provide light keyword research and content briefing assistance as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably within an e-commerce or agency setting.

• Proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush.

• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, and regular expressions.

• Experience managing multi-region and multi-language websites is a significant advantage (including hreflang, ccTLDs, and subdomains).

• Comfortable working with tickets in Jira, Asana, or other project management software.

• Dependable, organized, and meets deadlines consistently.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Native or fluent English speaker.

• Self-driven remote worker with a reliable internet connection.
