This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Identify and engage potential customers in both new-logo and whitespace segments, ensuring a consistent generation of opportunities within designated territories.
• Actively pursue technical opportunities through hands-on demonstrations, trials, and evaluations to confirm solution suitability and enhance adoption for Transfection Reagents and the ready-to-use Plasmid portfolio.
• Advance technical sales cycles by articulating solution value, addressing technical concerns, and quantifying customer impact to improve win rates.
• Contribute to commercial proposals and customer offers by providing critical technical insights that facilitate successful deal closures in collaboration with Central Sales.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to secure adoption, foster repeat business, and ensure a smooth transition to Central Sales once accounts are established.
• Systematically gather and share Voice-of-Customer insights—including user needs, competitive signals, and product feedback—to enhance portfolio development and assist in strategic account planning.
• A Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in technical sales, application support, or pre-sales roles within a scientific or technical setting.
• Proven hunter mentality with a solid history of generating, advancing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Strong technical skills in conducting demonstrations, trials, and customer evaluations, preferably with experience in gene therapy upstream processes.
• Understanding of the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) landscape, including market trends, key stakeholders, and challenges related to AAV, viral vectors, and advanced therapy manufacturing.
• Exceptional consultative communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into significant commercial value.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies, supported by a strong documentation ethic.
• Willingness to travel extensively (>50%) across Benelux and other territories.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a strong advantage, and Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
