This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• **Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):**

• Actively reach out to candidates rather than depending solely on inbound applications.

• Engage with candidates from relevant backgrounds such as educators, psychology students, caregivers, and nannies.

• Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates, recognizing that high drop-off rates are common in this market and that volume is key.

• Conduct structured **30-minute phone-based screening interviews** to evaluate candidate suitability.

• Assess candidates based on three core criteria: their ability to connect with and engage children, their consistency and reliability, and their capacity to grasp ABA concepts within approximately six weeks.

• Maintain an open-minded, developmental approach — focusing on potential rather than just current experience.

• Evaluate essential behavioral traits such as patience, communication skills, and reliability.

• Represent the client warmly and persuasively on every call, recognizing the genuine sales aspect of this role.

• Take detailed, **real-time notes during every interview** — rather than afterwards.

• Compile structured summaries of interviews and evaluations for candidates.

• Submit reports to the hiring manager to aid in hiring decisions.

• Track candidates from sourcing through placement using the client's phone and HR systems.

• Utilize **Microsoft Bookings** to arrange candidates into training sessions.

• Proactively manage follow-ups to reduce candidate drop-off at each stage of the recruitment funnel.

• Oversee offer processes, including contract distribution via the client's HR platform (**Momentium**).

• Enroll qualified candidates without formal ABA experience into the client's **40-hour certification training programme**.

• Collaborate with training teams and monitor candidate progress.

• Ensure that all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and promptly on Momentium.

• Transition candidate files to the scheduling team once candidates are active and ready for sessions.

• Maintain a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

• Effectively represent the client's brand to attract and retain top talent.

• Demonstrated capability to manage over 50 candidate profiles simultaneously across various pipeline stages.

• Experience in sourcing and managing candidates via Indeed or comparable job boards.

• Background in healthcare, education, childcare, or behavioral health environments is advantageous.

• A genuine personal interest in or connection to disability support, special needs, or child welfare is highly valued.

• **Soft Skills:**

• Strong phone-based communication skills — able to quickly build rapport and make accurate judgements within a 30-minute call.

• Speed and proactivity — the ability to act swiftly and be the first to reach strong candidates is a competitive edge in this market.

• Resilience and consistency in dealing with high candidate drop-off rates.

• Discipline in real-time note-taking and a high standard of detail in candidate reporting.

• An open-minded, development-oriented approach to candidate evaluation.

• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.

• **Technical Skills:**

• Proficient in MS Office and general computer systems.

• Familiarity with ATS platforms, HR onboarding platforms, or scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Bookings) is beneficial.
