
Technical Sales Specialist – Applied Genomics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will be responsible for meeting sales objectives with customers in the DACH region.
• You will broaden your network through focused and strategic acquisition initiatives, address requests for proposals (RFPs), and create proposals for clients.
• You will function as a consultative partner for our customers, grasp their unique challenges, and assist them with strategic solutions from our Genomics portfolio.
• You will act as a technical authority for our Applied Genomics portfolio, providing customers with comprehensive product and application expertise.
• You will engage closely with customers to comprehend their scientific challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
• You will collaborate with internal departments such as R&D and Marketing to ensure the effective implementation of technical solutions.
• You will conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and training sessions to highlight the capabilities of our Genomics solutions.
• You will stay updated on current advancements and trends in genomics, proteomics, and biologics to provide customers with the most recent insights.
• Demonstrated sales experience with a record of achieving or surpassing revenue goals.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience with genomics, proteomics, or biologics workflows, along with a strong grasp of laboratory techniques and applications.
• Capability to convey intricate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Results-driven, motivated individual with a passion for sales and a commitment to exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive in an international setting and identify new opportunities.
