Technical Sales Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a sales strategy for a specified territory.

• Execute the sales plan while promoting and demonstrating NDT products and services.

• Achieve sales targets for all products within the designated territory.

• Conduct daily visits to customers to showcase products and explore sales opportunities.

• Pursue leads through prospecting and cold calling efforts.

• Collaborate with sales engineers and support staff to finalize customer quotations.

• Align overall selling activities with internal teams for maximum efficiency.

• Assess and enhance the Sales Plan along with territory coverage.

• Promptly respond to customer inquiries via phone calls and emails.

• Utilize the EVIDENT CRM system for daily operations and management reporting.

• Prepare periodic sales reports, calendar events, and manage opportunities.

• Coordinate key account sales initiatives with key account managers.

• Engage in and present at local professional organizations.

• Adhere to the EVIDENT Code of Ethics policy.

• Acquire knowledge and apply the Miller Heiman strategic selling methodology.

• Attend sales meetings regularly.

• Travel approximately 60% of the time for customer engagements, demonstrations, and sales activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in NDT, a related technical field, or business discipline, or equivalent technical experience.

• At least 1+ year of experience in high-end capital equipment sales or comparable selling skills and training preferred.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to grasp the scientific principles and technology behind the equipment.

• Experience in sales territory management is advantageous.

• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a high level of drive.

• Willingness to travel approximately 60% within the assigned territory.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person and be able to provide valid proof of status upon hiring.
