This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Offering solution-focused technical guidance to clients and keeping suppliers updated on market trends.
• Assisting in product and application development alongside our product specialists and application technologists.
• Overseeing and growing business with current customers while proactively seeking new opportunities throughout the Benelux region.
• Meeting your sales objectives and managing projects from initial contact through to successful execution.
• Collaborating closely with our customer service team to ensure seamless operational performance.
• Conducting market analysis and reviewing our suppliers' product offerings to identify new opportunities.
• Responsible for formulating market strategies, purchasing, and selling assigned product groups.
• Cultivating strong relationships with our suppliers and clients.
• Visiting clients, assessing their requirements, and crafting value propositions.
• Participating in production trials at customer sites and implementing small-scale trials in the application kitchen.
• Managing projects in close collaboration with the Customer Service Manager.
• Aligning the sales strategy for supplier product groups with the assistance of Category Managers.
• Identifying and understanding customer needs to develop customized solutions.
• Executing lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with clients.
• Following up on proposals, payments, and related matters.
• Developing and implementing sales budgets and forecasts.
• You possess a technical background in Food Technology.
• You blend technical expertise with a robust commercial perspective.
• You identify opportunities, cultivate long-term relationships, and communicate with integrity and respect.
• You are dynamic, results-oriented, and passionate about your work.
• You think in terms of solutions and enjoy collaborating with clients on innovations.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• You are proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
• You are open to frequent travel within the Benelux region and occasionally internationally for training, trade shows, and partner meetings.
• You possess the ability to resolve technological issues and have a passion for food product development.
• You exhibit exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• You have a strong willingness to travel.
• You are well-organized, dependable, and maintain a positive outlook.
• You hold a valid driver's license.
