This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Expand and enhance adjacent trades within the Company, encompassing MEP, Waterproofing, Safety, and Geotextiles-Civil/Sitework products.
• Discover new business prospects and cultivate relationships with contractors, suppliers, owners, engineers, and industry associations.
• Propel sales and profitability of trade expansion throughout the region.
• Enter new markets and increase the customer base by identifying opportunities in both private and public projects.
• Collaborate with field teams, functional departments, marketing, category management, and local sales teams.
• Formulate annual business plans, monitor progress, and strategize on significant projects.
• Organize promotional materials for conferences, trade shows, presentations, and webinars.
• Consult with engineers regarding project designs and specifications.
• Support local sales teams with specifications, pricing, bidders, and strategies to successfully quote and secure projects.
• Conduct in-person and video meetings to present product features, advantages, and value propositions.
• Engage in product training and assist with the internal training of Civil/Sitework products.
• Develop operational plans and provide guidance to senior management on intricate strategic and technical business matters.
• Mentor staff and lead or manage complex projects with dotted-line responsibility.
• Plan, organize, and execute weekly agendas effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure the profitability of trade expansion initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of experience in a related field, or an MS/MA with approximately 8 years of experience in a similar domain.
• In-depth expertise in the designated area of responsibility and a solid understanding of related fields.
• More than 5 years of industry experience with a focus on MEP, Waterproofing, Safety, or Geotextiles trades.
• Exceptional technical knowledge.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in identifying opportunities in private and public projects.
• Capable of establishing relationships with contractors, suppliers, owners, engineers, and industry associations.
• Typically requires more than 50% overnight travel.
• Remote work arrangement.
