This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote and sell instruments, services, reagents, and other consumables to both new and existing accounts within a designated territory.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets for the assigned product range.
• Create and implement growth strategies for the territory in collaboration with sales management.
• Identify potential sales leads and successfully convert them into sales opportunities.
• Travel across the territory to meet customers, secure orders, showcase products, participate in trade shows, and address any troubleshooting needs.
• Build and sustain customer relationships effectively.
• Investigate and resolve any inquiries, issues, or complaints from customers.
• Utilize the CRM system to record customer interactions, schedule appointments, and track opportunities.
• Complete business transactions and manage expense reports accurately.
• Engage in strategic market analysis activities.
• Provide management with insights on competitive landscape and market trends.
• Collaborate on shared accounts to enhance company sales.
• Uphold the confidentiality of customer information and proprietary technologies.
• Undertake additional projects and assignments as assigned.
• A Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Two to four years of experience in sales and/or research within a life sciences setting.
• A background in Immunology and/or Molecular Biology is preferred.
• A Ph.D. is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
• A valid driver's license.
• Proof of insurance or insurability.
• Capability to obtain clearance for access to restricted government accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–75% of the time.
• Ability to travel regularly by car and airplane.
• Strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work effectively in a home office setting.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Willingness to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
