
Technical Representative, FiberTite Roofing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• This role involves managing the requirements of the specified territory encompassing Dallas, North Texas, and Oklahoma, providing personalized in-field technical support through direct interactions with a variety of customers, including Authorized FiberTite Applicator staff, building owners, architects, roofing consultants, and FiberTite sales representatives.
• Plan and organize work in accordance with Technical Services Guidelines, including arranging and conducting travel to job sites.
• Perform on-site visits during the roof installation process to monitor and ensure the correct implementation of FiberTite Roof Systems, adhering to best roofing practices and FiberTite specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting installation challenges and concerns as they occur.
• Provide training for FiberTite Applicator personnel regarding the appropriate use and installation of FiberTite products and roofing systems.
• Conduct final evaluations of FiberTite Roof System installations to guarantee technical and warranty compliance as per established FiberTite protocols.
• Investigate warranty claim matters as assigned.
• Occasionally carry out necessary FiberTite repairs as directed by FiberTite Warranty Services.
• Offer technical support to local and regional FiberTite Sales personnel to aid in their sales efforts.

• Comply with the company's environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain consistent weekly communication with FiberTite Technical Services staff to ensure the coordination of pertinent information.
• Additional responsibilities may include travel and work beyond the defined territory.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in roofing and/or roof inspections is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word Perfect, Excel, email, and Internet usage.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications, along with performing basic estimating tasks.
• Fundamental understanding of roofing, roofing materials, and roofing systems.
• Basic knowledge of roof leak detection techniques and the ability to identify necessary corrective repairs associated with single-ply roofing systems.
• Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the preparation of reports.
• Familiarity with general single-ply roof system inspection procedures.
• Working knowledge of building codes, such as FM, UL, and Miami-Dade.
• Practical experience with hot-air welding equipment used in thermoplastic single-ply roofing applications, including proficiency in hand-welding construction detail work, such as flashing applications for corners and pipes.
• Capability to deliver hands-on training on applications to small groups.
