Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical projects from the initial gathering of requirements through to development, testing, deployment, and support after launch.

• Convert business requirements into precise technical requirements, user stories, specifications, and development tasks.

• Develop project plans, establish timelines, allocate responsibilities, and prioritize tasks across various projects.

• Facilitate the collaboration of developers, designers, QA specialists, and other technical team members.

• Evaluate technical solutions and offer informed insights on architecture, integrations, database structures, APIs, and development strategies.

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions as necessary.

• Track development progress, pinpoint obstacles, and collaborate with the team to address technical and operational challenges.

• Oversee sprint planning, backlog prioritization, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Ensure that projects adhere to relevant development, testing, documentation, security, and deployment protocols.

• Clearly communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, timelines, technical decisions, and status reports.

• Assist with troubleshooting and incident resolution for existing systems as needed.

• Strive for continuous enhancement of project management and software development methodologies.

• Deliver projects punctually and within the agreed-upon scope.

• Guarantee that technical requirements are clear, complete, and comprehensible to the development team.

• Proactively identify and address risks and blockers.

• Provide regular and precise project updates to stakeholders.

• Enhance development processes, documentation, and accountability.

• Challenge, validate, and contribute to technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in managing technical or software development projects.

• Strong hands-on programming experience in one or more languages or frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PHP, Java, C#, React, Node.js, or other similar technologies.

• Ability to read, comprehend, review, and discuss code with developers.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, version control, testing, and deployment.

• Experience managing Agile or Scrum-based development teams.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, or comparable platforms.

• Practical knowledge of GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or other version control systems.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
