This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Assist partner organizations and treatment providers in enhancing clinical quality assurance systems across various treatment sites by conducting regular reviews and analyses of clinical KPIs and performance data.
• Detect treatment quality deficiencies and collaborate with partners to develop targeted improvement strategies at the country level.
• Oversee the implementation of clinical quality improvement standards and monitor progress against performance indicators.
• Facilitate clinical case reviews, peer-learning exchanges, and continuous learning initiatives among providers.
• Aid in the enhancement of clinical data systems to ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Medical Champions and technical advisory groups to promote adherence to Ponseti treatment standards and best practices.
• Assist in the development and dissemination of clinical guidelines, tools, and quality improvement resources.
• Help in the periodic review of treatment quality indicators, identify performance gaps, and collaborate with providers and partners to implement corrective actions and quality improvement plans.
• Perform detailed reviews of clinical performance data and treatment outcomes to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Facilitate effective adoption and use of digital health and program management systems among partner organizations.
• Monitor and validate data in platforms (e.g., CommCare, Salesforce), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Track system usage and follow up with partners to enhance engagement and compliance.
• Encourage data utilization through dashboards, performance reviews, and reporting to improve program and clinical outcomes.
• Generate analyses and insights to support quality improvement, operational planning, and program performance management.
• Address reporting requirements across partners, ministries of health, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct routine data quality assessments and validation exercises to identify discrepancies, strengthen data integrity, and enhance confidence in clinical and program performance reporting.
• Collaborate with treatment providers and implementing partners to establish systems for ongoing data verification, correction, and continuous data quality enhancement.
• Develop and provide training on clinical practices and digital tools (e.g., CAST, Salesforce, data utilization).
• Enhance the capacity of partner organizations to independently deliver training, mentorship, and supportive supervision.
• Assist in the onboarding of new treatment centers and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate and support clinical mentorship and technical training initiatives.
• Strengthen local trainer networks and contribute to long-term workforce development strategies.
• Maintain and enhance standardized training curricula and learning materials.
• Offer ongoing mentorship and supportive supervision to treatment providers and trainers to bolster clinical competence, adherence to Ponseti standards, and effective use of digital systems.
• Guide providers in interpreting and utilizing clinical and program data to enhance service delivery, treatment outcomes, and program performance.
• Provide technical guidance to partners regarding the use of clinical and digital systems.
• Deliver front-line technical support, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex system challenges as necessary.
• Manage and track support requests through a ticketing system (e.g., Jira).
• Assist with the procurement, distribution, and management of devices used in program delivery.
• Contribute to the creation of user guides, job aids, and technical support resources.
• Document lessons learned, best practices, and program outcomes for both internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to research, case studies, presentations, learning products, and technical publications.
• Participate in product development cycles and recommend system enhancements.
• Represent the organization in technical forums, trainings, and conferences as appropriate while promoting partner visibility and leadership.
• Build strong relationships with MiracleFeet’s global Technical, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Digital Systems teams to facilitate learning, knowledge exchange, and adoption of best practices across countries.
• Foster collaboration with implementing partners, Medical Champions, healthcare providers, and relevant technical stakeholders to strengthen clinical quality, data quality, and program performance.
• Provide technical assistance and support to partners across both clinical and digital domains.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration between clinical, program, and product teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine (MBBS), Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Orthotics & Prosthetics, or another relevant clinical discipline is required.
• Additional training or experience in Public Health, Health Systems Strengthening, Quality Improvement, Digital Health, or Program Management is strongly preferred.
• Formal Ponseti training and experience in providing or supporting clubfoot treatment is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in clinical practice, public health programs, health systems strengthening, quality improvement, rehabilitation services, digital health, or international development.
• Experience in clinical service delivery, program implementation, data systems, monitoring and evaluation, or digital health platforms.
• Experience in supporting rehabilitation, orthopedic, disability inclusion, assistive technology, maternal and child health, or child health programs.
• Experience working with teaching hospitals, orthopedic hospitals, rehabilitation centers, tertiary healthcare facilities, or similar clinical settings.
• Experience collaborating across multiple states in Nigeria and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including global or cross-cultural teams.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional local or international languages is an asset.
• Willingness to travel domestically within Nigeria and internationally up to 25–30% of the time.
