Technical Program Manager, Jira/Jellyfish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the health, configuration, and insights generated from Jira and Jellyfish tools.

• Ensure that leadership has a clear and comprehensive understanding of engineering investments, velocity, and overall health.

• Design, construct, and sustain complex workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules at scale.

• Align Jira "Signals" with Jellyfish allocation buckets.

• Standardize issue types and field usage across more than 20 squads to guarantee that Jellyfish insights are statistically reliable.

• Utilize Atlassian Intelligence to convert plain-English requests into intricate JQL for immediate reporting.

• Assess how AI coding assistants are influencing our "Time to Deliver" and the quality of code.

• Integrate AI Agents to manage "ticket hygiene," automate the identification of stale issues, and prioritize incoming requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in Engineering Operations (EngOps), Program Management, or a comparable data-intensive engineering role.

• Expert-level administration skills in Jira Cloud.

• Proficiency as a power user in Jellyfish.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile metrics and categories of Engineering Investment.

• Strong understanding of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Time to Restore Service).

• Advanced skills in Jira Automation and JQL.

• Foundational knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

• Comfortable using AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting tasks.
