This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with cross-company partners to design programs and organize teams to achieve essential business goals.
• Oversee engineering programs across all facets of program management – including planning, forecasting, documentation, scheduling, efficient meetings, prioritization of multiple tasks, managing dependencies, reporting, and effectively addressing critical and blocking issues.
• Assist engineering teams in adopting agile methodologies.
• Create and execute metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, as well as gather and analyze data to support planning and data-driven decisions.
• Provide updates on overall program status, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Foster organizational alignment and efficiency by collaborating with multi-functional leads and optimizing processes.
• Collaborate with multi-functional matrixed teams.
• Support teams in addressing advanced, complex, competing, and often conflicting customer requirements.
• Facilitate technical discussions to reach successful outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison between developers and customers, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, demonstrating expertise in program management and a strong grasp of technical and management practices.
• Over 10 years of program management experience, including a proven track record in managing global projects and adaptability to various time zones.
• Proven ability to engage and moderate successful interactions with engineering partners and vendors.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for a diverse range of technical and non-technical audiences, complemented by strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and quality standards within enterprise systems.
• Strong multitasking skills, with an emphasis on thoroughness and the ability to switch contexts rapidly.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools, project planning, and task tracking systems.
• Experience in AI training environments and resource capacity planning.
• Proactive in recognizing and enacting efficient changes within software engineering and release management.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Confluence) and distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).
