Senior Technical Program Manager, ML Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-company partners to strategize programs and coordinate teams in order to achieve key business goals.

• Direct engineering programs across all facets of program management, including planning, forecasting, documentation, scheduling, effective meetings, multi-dimensional prioritization, dependency management, reporting, and adept resolution of critical and blocking issues.

• Create and implement metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, collecting and analyzing data to support planning and data-driven decisions.

• Provide updates on overall program status, offering insights and recommendations to senior management while promoting organizational alignment and efficiency through collaboration with multi-functional leaders and process streamlining.

• Work alongside multi-functional matrixed teams, guiding them in addressing advanced, complex, competing, and often conflicting customer requirements, and facilitating technical discussions towards successful outcomes.

• Serve as a bridge between developers and customers, as well as between technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, showcasing proven program management expertise and proficiency in technical and management practices.

• Over 10 years of program management experience, including a demonstrated ability to manage global projects, adaptable to various time zones.

• Proven skill in engaging and facilitating successful collaborations with engineering partners and vendors.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills suitable for diverse technical and non-technical audiences, along with strong problem-solving and conflict management capabilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and quality requirements in enterprise systems, as well as experience in AI training environments and resource capacity planning.

• Strong multitasking skills with an emphasis on thoroughness and rapid context switching, possessing knowledge of agile methodologies, project planning, and task tracking tools.

• Excellent organizational abilities with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Confluence) and distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).
