This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Act as the strategic leader for the engineering operating system.

• Take ownership of the health, configuration, and insights derived from the Jira and Jellyfish tools.

• Ensure that leadership maintains a clear understanding of engineering investment, velocity, and health.

• Design, construct, and sustain intricate workflows and automation rules at scale within Jira Cloud.

• Align Jira Signals with Jellyfish allocation buckets.

• Standardize issue types and field utilization across more than 20 squads.

• Utilize Atlassian Intelligence for effective reporting.

• Evaluate the influence of AI coding assistants on delivery timelines and code quality.

• Integrate AI Agents to enhance workflow automation.

• Track metrics to pinpoint systemic bottlenecks and identify opportunities for improvement.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering Operations (EngOps), Program Management, or a comparable data-intensive engineering role.

• Expert-level administration skills in Jira Cloud.

• Proficient user experience with Jellyfish.

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile metrics and categories of Engineering Investment.

• Strong familiarity with DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Time to Restore Service).

• Advanced skills in Jira Automation and JQL.

• Foundational knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

• Comfortable utilizing AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting activities.
