This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the master program plan for LOIS feature development, ensuring a clear, grounded, and continuously updated overview of timelines, milestones, and inter-team dependencies utilized across the organization.
• Actively identify, monitor, and resolve blockers and dependency risks across engineering, product, design, ML research, data science, SRE, and operations, working independently and collaboratively with senior product and engineering leadership.
• Create and refine a streamlined coordination and delivery infrastructure, including rituals, tooling conventions in Linear, and communication standards that foster strong cross-team collaboration.
• Function as the primary liaison between the core LOIS development teams and supporting stakeholder functions (QA, operations, etc.), ensuring timely involvement to facilitate smooth and rapid feature delivery.
• Adapt and manage the effects of unforeseen changes, delays, and discoveries during development by revising forecasts, communicating trade-offs, and maintaining coordination without sacrificing delivery momentum.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership on release planning, ensuring that the program structure aligns with and supports strategic priorities.
• Cultivate a culture of transparency and accountability throughout the program, ensuring that status updates are honest, risks are identified early, and teams have the necessary resources to excel in their work.
• Over 7 years of technical program management or related experience delivering complex software across multiple geographically dispersed teams in diverse disciplines.
• Proven ability to manage a large, multi-workstream program amid uncertainty: developing plans, maintaining them under pressure, and effectively communicating status to both technical and executive audiences.
• Extensive familiarity with software engineering practices at a practical level. Strong candidates should be comfortable discussing system architecture, APIs, infrastructure, and technical trade-offs.
• A solid track record of establishing coordination processes and infrastructure in environments where they were previously absent, demonstrating sound judgment in deploying formal versus lightweight methods.
• Significant experience with modern project and issue-tracking tools (Linear, Jira, or similar), especially in utilizing these tools to make dependencies and progress visible across a broad base of contributors and stakeholders.
• Experience working with products that include ML or LLM-based components is a valuable asset, especially where model behavior, data pipelines, and research cycles intersect with product delivery timelines.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes across engineering, product, research, and operations without formal authority.
• Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance (for full-time employees)
• Competitive & Fair Pay
• Maternity & Paternity Leave (for full-time employees)
• Short & Long-Term Disability
• Opportunity to learn from a dedicated leadership team
• Top-of-the-line company swag
