Senior Manager, Technical Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead impactful initiatives on the Syniti Knowledge Platform, empowering customers to manage, migrate, and oversee enterprise data.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to implement platform improvements.

• Work alongside the CTO and leadership teams to ensure alignment of roadmaps with business goals.

• Assist the CTO in creating and presenting executive updates regarding progress, objectives, and timelines.

• Establish and refine standards for planning, communication, tracking, and issue resolution.

• Deploy tools and frameworks that yield consistent results and dependable outcomes.

• Guide project managers through support, escalation, and risk mitigation.

• Develop program charters that outline business value, scope, timelines, success criteria, and responsibilities.

• Convert roadmap items into actionable plans that include goals, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Recognize risks and contingencies while ensuring adherence to planning standards.

• Propel program advancement, collaboration, issue resolution, and risk management.

• Hold project managers and team leads accountable for results.

• Facilitate collaboration among project management, engineering, product, operations, compliance, and customer-facing teams.

• Ensure effective utilization of Jira, GitHub, CI/CD, and related tools for precise project management information.

• Collaborate with product and engineering to oversee release schedules, governance compliance, and product readiness communications.

• Manage procurement and contracting with external vendors in partnership with legal and finance.

• Encourage the adoption of new processes, tools, and solutions across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in program management or business operations within a Product & Engineering organization.

• Strong proficiency in developing, implementing, and assessing processes, frameworks, and operational metrics.

• Familiarity with developer productivity tools such as Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and CI/CD systems.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly across all organizational levels.

• Determination, persistence, and attention to detail, with the capability to drive complex projects to successful completion.

• Bonus: Experience in release management, governance, and compliance within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

• Bonus: Experience in managing vendor relationships, procurement, or contracting processes.
