This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Bring the product vision to life within a dedicated team.

• Take responsibility for product intent, specifications, and implementation from the definition of problems through to production operations.

• Craft end-to-end system behavior and user experience.

• Utilize AI tools such as Kiro and Claude to refine designs, address edge cases, and explore alternative methods.

• Create clear, testable, implementation-ready specifications through AI-assisted workflows.

• Collaborate with the squad Architect to define APIs, data models, and interaction patterns.

• Convert business requirements and domain knowledge into practical system specifications.

• Develop functional software using AI-assisted development and specification-driven workflows.

• Generate, enhance, prototype, validate, and execute product and technical specifications.

• Investigate ambiguous requirements by suggesting and constructing solutions.

• Work closely with the Architect on API design, data modeling, and system architecture.

• Coordinate with the Shipper on acceptance criteria, testability, and readiness for release.

• Engage in technical design discussions and trade-off evaluations.

• Proactively identify blockers, risks, and dependencies.

• Maintain shared understanding through specifications, documentation, and functional demos.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product and/or engineering roles within fintech, banking, or financial services.

• Background in working with business/commercial digital banking platforms utilized by small business end customers.

• Strong comprehension of complex, regulated environments and financial workflows.

• Proven ability to convert customer and market feedback into quantifiable outcomes, including direct insights from banks, credit unions, and their customers, as well as market and competitive signals to refine features iteratively, enhancing customer experience, adoption, and institutional growth.

• Skill in linking business objectives to technical capabilities and constraints, quickly identifying high-impact investments versus low-value efforts to maintain focus on what drives business progress.

• Demonstrated capacity to design and build systems and workflows, not merely outline requirements.

• History of delivering operational software rather than just producing documentation.

• Strong hands-on development skills across both front-end and/or back-end technologies.

• Ability to manage implementation from start to finish within a product domain.

• Willingness to work across the stack as necessary to deliver comprehensive features.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, data modeling, and system interactions.

• Familiarity with Node.js, Prisma, Redis, Kafka/SQS, and AWS deployment.

• Active, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows.

• Proven use of AI tools for specification, code generation, and iteration.

• Openness to experimenting with tools and a commitment to continuously enhancing AI-augmented development practices.

• Comfort operating within a spec-first, AI-first development approach.
