Technical Product Manager – Contract, 6 months

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining requirements while comprehensively understanding all technical and data-related components.

• Take ownership of the product backlog: create clear and well-structured tickets, maintain board hygiene, and ensure priorities are aligned with business objectives.

• Function as a technical Product Manager, collaborating closely with engineers on architecture, data flows, and implementation trade-offs.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of and engage in discussions about data pipelines, ETL processes, and use cases for data consumers.

• Write and review SQL queries to verify data, support analysis, and maintain the accuracy of reports.

• Ensure adherence to best practices for RESTful APIs and facilitate proper integration among backend services, data platforms, and consumers.

• Serve as a proficient user of data platforms and BI/reporting tools, possessing strong opinions regarding report quality, consistency, and usability.

• Advocate for the needs of data consumers, ensuring that reporting provides clear, reliable, and actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Manager in technical or data-centric environments.

• Strong technical foundation, enabling deep engagement in conversations with engineering teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems.

• Proficiency in writing and validating SQL queries.

• Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and the needs of downstream data consumers.

• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs and system integrations.

• Experience working with BI tools or data warehouses (such as Snowflake or similar).

• Strong skills in backlog management, requirement definition, and prioritization.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced discovery environments with a degree of ambiguity.

• Excellent communication abilities in English, both written and verbal.
