Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to guarantee that technical solutions align with product requirements while providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that solutions are feasible, scalable, maintainable, and meet quality standards.

• Facilitate the engineering process by managing product backlogs, transforming and refining product requirements into user stories that include clear acceptance criteria.

• Engage in team ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure the engineering team comprehends product priorities clearly.

• Triage and resolve product-related issues, collaborating with the engineering team to address bugs and communicating with stakeholders to manage expectations.

• Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful product delivery.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to make trade-off decisions when confronted with conflicting priorities, resource constraints, or technical limitations.

• Work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams to facilitate successful product development.

• Analyze data and metrics to guide product decisions, assess product performance, and uncover areas for improvement.

• Foster a strong culture of knowledge sharing and maintain documentation for product decisions and designs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager in a modern software or product organization.

• Demonstrated ability to create and manage backlogs, writing clear user stories with concise and comprehensive acceptance criteria.

• Skilled in prioritizing features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

• Competent in participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

• Continuously striving to understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations to develop products that fulfill customer requirements and deliver value.

• Strong analytical capabilities to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform product decisions.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities.

• Strong problem-solving skills to address technical, business, and customer challenges.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams.

• Understanding of programming concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Knowledge of technical architecture, encompassing system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
