Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate system integrations by managing third-party connections. Comprehend the data flow between systems and ensure that modifications in one area of the platform do not lead to downstream complications in another.

• Assess and rank opportunities based on their business impact, technical difficulty, and resource availability, aiding in the prioritization of tasks in line with broader project and business objectives.

• Collaborate on the strategy, discovery, and implementation of initiatives that involve complex system integrations, enhancements, and features intended for customers.

• Take ownership of the product backlog: develop comprehensive, technically precise user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation utilizing JIRA and Confluence.

• Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality solutions punctually.

• Proactively oversee timelines and deliverables, concentrating on interactions within and across departments; work together with key stakeholders to guarantee that deadlines are achieved.

• Work closely with developers to specify technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and feasibility.

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, elucidating business requirements while promoting technical best practices.

• Direct UAT planning and execution to guarantee product quality throughout projects and releases.

• Assist in comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and validation for technical implementations and system integrations.

• Define metrics for key projects and ensure monitoring plans are aligned with business objectives; assess product performance and address technical issues after launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• More than 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a product or technical role centered on software development and system integrations in an eCommerce context, demonstrating a successful history of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on schedule and within scope, while exercising sound judgment in addressing escalated and complicated issues.

• Proficient understanding of full stack development technologies and frameworks, including JavaScript, React, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, or similar.

• Proven Agile development mindset with practical experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• A natural inclination toward AI tools with demonstrated experience in utilizing them in a product-related context, whether for product discovery, troubleshooting system challenges, analyzing data, or enhancing daily workflows.

• Practical experience collaborating with Developers and IT teams, including drafting technical requirements and engaging in technical discussions (e.g., APIs, data models, architecture).

• Experience with cloud deployment on major platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.

• Capability to handle assignments of diverse and intricate scope, identifying solutions to unfamiliar challenges with minimal supervision.

• Established effective working relationships with senior leadership both internally and externally.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
