This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Formulate and effectively communicate the product strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and the dynamic market environment.
• Take full ownership of products and their outcomes from conception through deployment and ongoing improvements, guaranteeing timely delivery, adherence to scope, and exceeding expectations.
• Connect intricate technical solutions with tangible business value, making well-informed prioritization choices and strategic trade-offs.
• Design and continually enhance the platforms that enable licensors to provide and transfer large-scale data to Troveo, encompassing multimodal content and enterprise workflow data.
• Manage the complete ingestion experience, from onboarding processes to file-transfer reliability, ensuring a seamless experience for partners regardless of their technical expertise.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to establish and optimize a cost-effective, high-throughput data pipeline that includes profiling, deduplication, transcoding, annotation, and downstream delivery.
• Assist in designing processing pipelines and logic customized for various data types, including video files, structured metadata, and other unique formats submitted by licensors.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, recommend enhancements, and drive execution throughout the various stages of the pipeline.
• Take charge of analytics and data-driven feature enhancements, leveraging metrics to discover opportunities, prioritize tasks, and assess impact.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of data to resolve operational data issues, ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the pipeline.
• Collaborate across teams to fulfill client delivery requirements, including data reconciliation across different systems.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management or a related role within a technically challenging environment.
• Demonstrated maturity and sound judgment in both business and technology, with proven ability to influence and lead effectively.
• Comfortable engaging in discussions with technical stakeholders and capable of translating complex ideas for varied audiences.
• Proficient in SQL and data analytics, able to delve into data to address questions and validate assumptions independently.
• Strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to transition from identifying problems to creating specifications to delivering features efficiently with engineers.
• Hands-on, experimental mindset towards AI, consistently testing and embracing new capabilities as they develop.
