Technical Product Manager – 12 Months Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to guarantee that technical solutions align with product requirements while providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that solutions are feasible, scalable, maintainable, and adhere to quality standards.

• Lead the engineering process by managing product backlogs and transforming product requirements into user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Participate in team ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure the engineering team is well-informed of product priorities.

• Triage and resolve product-related issues, collaborating with the engineering team to address bugs and communicating with stakeholders to set expectations.

• Identify potential risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful product delivery.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to make trade-off decisions when faced with conflicting priorities, resource constraints, or technical limitations.

• Work closely with diverse stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams, to facilitate successful product development.

• Analyze data and metrics to guide product decisions, assess product performance, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Foster a robust culture of knowledge sharing and maintain comprehensive documentation of product decisions and designs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager in a contemporary software or product organization.

• Established ability to create and manage backlogs, crafting clear user stories with concise and detailed acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in prioritizing features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

• Capable of engaging in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

• Continuously striving to understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations to create products that fulfill customer requirements and provide value.

• Strong analytical abilities to gather, analyze, and interpret data to guide product decisions.

• Adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Adaptable to changing market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities to tackle technical, business, and customer challenges.

• Familiar with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams.

• Understanding of programming concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Knowledge of technical architecture, covering system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
