This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Collaborate with business representatives to transform product strategy into comprehensive requirements, working closely with engineering and design teams.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Professional Services.
• Focus on API-driven integrations and system workflows to ensure both scalability and reliability.
• Enhance exception handling, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy throughout the platform.
• Establish and utilize analytics to evaluate product performance and promote continuous improvement.
• Foster strong customer feedback mechanisms via discovery sessions and ongoing engagement.
• Stay updated on trends in payments and SaaS platforms, applying insights in a pragmatic manner.
• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for Sparkrock Pay.
• Drive product discovery by directly engaging with school boards, administrators, and payment providers to identify pain points and workflows.
• Design and evolve payment and form-management workflows, encompassing collections, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Over 5 years of product management experience in SaaS or FinTech sectors.
• Experience with reconciliation, reporting, or workflows related to financial operations.
• Background in payments, financial systems, or workflow-intensive platforms.
• Familiarity with K–12 education, public sector, or nonprofit environments.
• Strong technical fluency, which includes:
• APIs and integrations.
• System workflows and data models.
• Collaboration on architecture and system design.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable systems.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Excellent product discovery and problem-solving competencies.
• Ability to define and monitor significant product metrics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
