This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Establish and guide the technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap for designated IT products and platforms.
• Collaborate with business leaders, users, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to collect and prioritize requirements.
• Oversee technical product lifecycle activities from ideation and planning through execution and continuous optimization.
• Convert business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work alongside engineering teams to guarantee that security, scalability, performance, and compliance standards are achieved.
• Engage in lightweight architecture, design, and code reviews as necessary.
• Manage technical product backlogs and prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
• Direct the implementation and launch of new capabilities, applications, and platforms.
• Act as a point of escalation for technical product-related issues and incidents.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination where applicable.
• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders and provide regular updates on technical product progress and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process enhancement, and technology modernization.
• Assist in vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and implementation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, IT Leadership, Lead Development, Solution/Application Architecture, or similar roles.
• Strong grasp of enterprise applications, systems integration, APIs, cloud platforms, databases, ELT, and software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
• Experience managing product roadmaps and delivering technology solutions.
• Experience overseeing project budgets and financial forecasting.
• Integration experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
• Salesforce experience with Accounts, Contacts, Reports, Dashboards, Security, and Flows.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for remote or hybrid employees.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana offices may be necessary.
