This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Actively assist in the entire sales process, from needs assessment through the proposal stage to final demonstrations and workshops.
• Bridge complex requirements between business and technology.
• Evaluate customer needs across both business and IT domains.
• Create tailored solution concepts tailored to the EMIL Insurance Suite.
• Prepare proposals for technical architecture that include APIs, modules, and peripheral systems.
• Design, prepare, and deliver demonstrations focused on live environments and use cases.
• Facilitate technical workshops (both remote and on-site) for business and IT decision-makers.
• Assist in RFI/RFP processes by providing technical specifications.
• Generate feasibility studies, architecture sketches, and implementation recommendations.
• Work closely with project teams, Customer Success, and partners.
• Develop technical pitch decks, as well as functional and technical implementation concepts, architecture slides, and scope attachments.
• Contribute to onboarding activities.
• A degree or vocational training in (business) computer science/IT or equivalent qualification, preferably with experience in the insurance industry.
• A solid technical background and experience in software development and IT integration, including familiarity with relevant tools.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or an IT consulting role.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance application landscapes, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructures.
• Understanding of core insurance processes such as policy/portfolio administration, claims, partner management, and pricing/tariffing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with both IT and business stakeholders at customer locations.
• Native-level German proficiency; good written and spoken English skills.
• 30 days of vacation annually; additionally, you receive a half-day off on December 24th and 31st.
