This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• We are seeking an individual who not only monitors technical advancements but also actively incorporates them into our infrastructure.
• You will provide support to the team in charge of infrastructure, DevOps, and technical automation.
• A key aspect of your position involves collaborating closely with the Team Lead: you will assist in the preparation of technical decisions, rapid prototyping, and the implementation of new tools—particularly those based on AI.
• Further develop our infrastructure—you will enhance our deployment environments and automate processes where it significantly boosts stability, speed, and transparency in daily operations.
• Cultivate the DevOps culture—you will take responsibility for CI/CD, observability, and security matters in the team’s daily activities, ensuring seamless workflows.
• Act as a sparring partner for the Team Lead—you will engage closely with the Team Lead on architecture, workflows, and current operational challenges.
• Pragmatically evaluate innovations—you will use rapid prototyping to swiftly test new ideas and technologies and gauge their value for our organization.
• Propel AI tools forward—you will implement new AI solutions, assist with onboarding, and empower your colleagues through training and best practices.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development with proven expertise in full-stack web development (web technologies, backend & frontend).
• Several years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability systems, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Puppet, Terraform, or similar).
• Experience with workflow automation and AI tools (mandatory).
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
