Conversational Modelling Research Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Perform research on Large Multimodal Models specifically related to Conversational Avatars.

• Create methodologies to represent both verbal and non-verbal components of dialogue.

• Engage in experimentation with fine-tuning, adaptation, and conditioning strategies.

• Collaborate with the Applied ML team to transition research from prototype phase to production.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD (or nearing completion) in a pertinent discipline, or equivalent research experience.

• Practical experience with Large Multimodal Models and a robust understanding of generative (language) models.

• Proven experience in fine-tuning/adapting VLMs for control, conditioning, or downstream applications.

• Strong foundation in deep learning and foundational models.

• Proficient in PyTorch and comfortable with constructing deep learning pipelines.
