This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

• Involvement in research initiatives focused on 5G/6G projects related to RAN.

• Designing and validating algorithms and architectures pertinent to RAN (e.g., RRM).

• Creating simulations or prototypes associated with 5G/6G technologies.

• Managing specific tasks within EU projects.

• Composing reports and papers, as well as contributing to patent applications.

• Proficiency in Python or Matlab scripting is essential.

• Familiarity with C/C++/Java is considered advantageous.

• A Master's degree in one of the following fields: Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Telecommunication Engineering.

• Engaging in cutting-edge research in the realm of 5G/6G.

• Willingness to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Capability to independently manage tasks with a proactive approach.

• Understanding of trends and research trajectories within 6G studies (e.g., RRM, JCAS, AI-RAN).

• Proficiency in English is a prerequisite.

• Strong foundation in 5G network architecture and key signaling components.

• Demonstrated experience in developing L2/L3 algorithms (e.g., MAC).

• Solid competencies in system-level simulation and/or prototyping experience.

• Knowledge of ORAN is preferred, with the ability to develop xApps being a plus.

• Experience in the telecommunications industry is an added advantage.
