This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Monitor engineering outputs, tool launches, research publications, conference presentations, and milestones — ensuring each receives appropriate attention.
• Address the backlog of released tools and research that have not been publicly documented.
• Develop case studies, briefs, blog drafts, and marketing materials that cater to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Technical Editing on content workflows, particularly regarding report publications and blog creation, while offering additional writing support as needed.
• Manage the content calendar across various practices. Synchronize publishing timelines to ensure consistent coverage and prevent any gaps.
• Oversee social media activities on platforms such as X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. Maintain a regular publishing schedule, engage with the community, and expand our audience.
• Represent Trail of Bits at industry events and pertinent conferences.
• Organize and execute multi-channel campaigns (including social media, email, webinars, and conference promotions) aimed at driving business growth.
• Enhance existing performance metrics, monitor outcomes, and establish a reporting routine to inform the team of successful strategies and areas for further investment.
• Experience in marketing within AppSec, AI/ML Security, or Research & Engineering fields.
• A proactive presence in security communities.
• Proficient in technical writing tailored for security audiences.
• Experience in demand generation at a security or developer tools company.
• Familiarity with social media engagement in security communities.
• Technical understanding adjacent to development.
• Experience in marketing reporting for security-related pipelines.
• Proficient with HubSpot in a B2B security or developer tools context.
• Familiarity with AI tools for creating security content.
• (Nice to Have) Background in analyst relations or industry awards programs.
• (Nice to Have) Experience in public relations and crisis communications.
• (Nice to Have) Background in a professional services or consultancy setting.
• (Nice to Have) Experience with customer journey mapping, client segmentation, S-curve analysis, or market positioning at the practice level.
• (Nice to Have) Experience in structuring web content and proof points for AI discoverability and agent-ready evaluation.
• (Nice to Have) Familiarity with NPS programs or customer feedback mechanisms that shape marketing strategies.
