• As a member of our Hardware Product Management team, you will collaborate with Sales and Systems Engineering teams to establish product deployment use cases and architectures while leading the Engineering Test and Validation team.
• You will assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of application notes, white papers, and will drive proof of concept infrastructures for high-performance optical interconnects and systems.
• Your responsibilities will encompass technical product management, hardware testing, firmware testing, systems integration, Python development, network deployment regulations, and practical lab experimentation, all while working alongside experienced engineers from various disciplines.
• Define use cases for scaling up, out, and across generations of optical interconnects as well as switch and router families.
• Provide education to Sales Engineering regarding optical interconnect deployment configurations.
• Develop tools for deployment regulations and optical configurations for mixed-rate interconnects and scaling across DWDM technologies (including grey and amplified direct detection, coherent detection DWDM, single and multi-span).
• Maintain both internal and external documentation for Data Center, ML/AI, and scaling across deployment scenarios with the Arista family of products.
• Create web-based tools for valid configurations of the Arista product family across various switch and router generations and supported optical interconnect configurations.
• Collaborate with PLM and engineering to define configurations for technical conferences.
• Assist engineering with equipment setup and logistics.
• Provide support to PLM and Marketing by preparing materials for demonstrations.
• Attend conferences as needed to support exhibits.
• Write and maintain Python-based code to automate testing processes, control lab instruments, and log test results on a large scale.
• Set up and conduct optical/electrical tests utilizing tools like BERTs, power meters, spectrum analyzers, OTDR, and oscilloscopes.
• Validate DWDM single and multi-span systems.
• Aid in analyzing test data to identify trends, troubleshoot failures, and enhance product and process reliability.
