This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and supervise a portfolio of intricate audits, ensuring adherence to technical quality, compliance, and timely execution.
• Serve as the lead auditor for selected high-risk, high-visibility, or strategically significant audits as required.
• Evaluate and authorize audit plans, technical reports, verification statements, and the resolution of findings.
• Offer technical guidance and escalation support to quality assurance personnel and scheme owners as necessary.
• Ensure that the appropriate technical resources and expertise are allocated to each engagement.
• Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of relevant accreditation standards through participation in conferences and training sessions.
• Create and implement procedures aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of auditing services.
• Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of quality concerns, non-conformities, and complaints.
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of professional experience in food safety, quality assurance, food manufacturing, auditing, certification, or a related area.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities (Advanced proficiency).
• Highly developed organizational skills, capable of effectively prioritizing multiple tasks (Advanced proficiency).
• Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems (Intermediate proficiency).
• Initiative, sound judgment, and the capacity to work independently under pressure in a dynamic environment (Advanced proficiency).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Intermediate proficiency).
