
Technical Manager β Electrical Engineering, Solar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a team of solar engineers.
β’ Direct and manage all engineering tasks throughout the proposal, design, and construction phases.
β’ Collaborate with clients to ensure that their expectations and project details are clearly understood and met.
β’ Provide technical guidance and coordination for large-scale utility solar projects.
β’ Develop and oversee the team budget to ensure financial accountability.
β’ Mentor, train, and cultivate the growth and development of engineering technical staff.
β’ Foster and enhance a positive team culture.
β’ Assist in the creation and management of strategic accounts and proposals.
β’ Build and maintain strong client relationships.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
β’ Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) registration or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment is highly preferred.
β’ At least 7 years of experience in solar project design and a minimum of 3 years in team leadership (in solar or other fields) is preferred.
β’ Extensive knowledge of electrical power systems and photovoltaic design, including plant layout and performance modeling, modules, inverters, racking, and DC/AC collection systems.
β’ Strong grasp of project performance metrics and cost factors.
β’ Proven proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
β’ Willingness to travel to project or client sites as needed (approximately 5-15%).
β’ Must have the legal authorization to work permanently in the United States or Canada.
