Technical Manager, Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Transform business and mission requirements into comprehensive solution architectures through precise documentation and diagrams.

• Design and oversee secure, scalable cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms, specifically on Azure.

• Assess both legacy and current systems (applications, data, infrastructure) and outline modernization and migration strategies.

• Take ownership of and update technical roadmaps to ensure they align with program delivery objectives and business results.

• Conduct proofs-of-concept and technology assessments to guide architectural decisions.

• Lead extensive cloud and hybrid-cloud migrations, encompassing both application and data workloads.

• Advocate for DevSecOps methodologies within Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.

• Supervise the design and implementation of scalable data architectures, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

• Act as a trusted consultant to federal stakeholders and decision-makers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 9 years of experience in enterprise solution and/or cloud architecture.

• More than 8 years of experience in delivering customer-facing, production-level systems.

• At least 5 years of experience leading or actively contributing to a federal ATO at FISMA Moderate or higher.

• Over 5 years of experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, React, Angular, .NET).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one major cloud provider, specifically Azure.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to acquire (or possess) Public Trust or higher clearance; active clearance is preferred.
