Technical Lead QA Automation Engineer, AI-Assisted

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Contribute to quality assurance processes throughout the planning, development, and release phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Utilize AI-driven development tools to design, create, validate, and manage test assets at scale.

• Review and critically assess AI-generated test results before they are added to the repository, identifying false positives, coverage gaps, and fragile assertions.

• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA leadership to establish quality standards and communicate risks effectively.

• Look beyond local scripts to understand how test solutions can scale from 10 to 10,000 and design accordingly.

• Quickly adapt processes in response to changes in the product environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing, or software development.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar) encompassing API and web UI testing.

• Demonstrated capability to work efficiently with AI coding assistants and produce reliable, production-ready results.

• Quantifiable contributions from previous QA roles (e.g., time saved, defect detection rates, coverage improvements).

• Experience in developing or enhancing AI-assisted tools (prompts, pipelines, generators).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A proactive and inquisitive mindset—eager to learn and develop.

• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with CI/CD integration of automated test suites (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (Nice to Have).
