Technical Lead, Python, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will develop a highly innovative MedTech tool.

• You will act as the Technical Lead within the team, making architectural decisions and conducting code reviews.

• You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and code APIs.

• You will collaborate with frontend developers to build end-to-end web applications.

• You will take charge of cloud deployment, monitoring, and the reliability of services.

• You will ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and adherence to DevOps best practices.

• You will brainstorm with product managers and R&D engineers regarding the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development.

• Expert knowledge in Python and FastAPI.

• Experience in developing scalable RESTful APIs.

• Deep understanding of relational databases and data modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL).

• Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Interest in leading a small engineering team technically.

• Experience with Kubernetes, WebSockets, identity providers (OAuth 2.0), and monitoring (Grafana).

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.

• Ideally, experience in the MedTech sector or another heavily regulated field.

• Fluent in English and at least A2 level in German.
