Technical Lead, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete execution of ML systems, encompassing data pipelines, training workflows, evaluation frameworks, inference architecture, and deployment.

• Refine and adjust models utilizing advanced techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, SFT, DPO, and distillation.

• Design and manage scalable inference systems, ensuring an optimal balance between latency, cost, and reliability.

• Create and uphold data systems that provide high-quality synthetic and real-world training data.

• Establish evaluation pipelines that assess performance, robustness, safety, and bias, in collaboration with research leadership.

• Oversee production deployment, focusing on GPU optimization, memory efficiency, latency reduction, and scaling policies.

• Work closely with application engineering to seamlessly integrate ML systems into backend, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Make informed trade-offs and rapidly implement enhancements, learning from actual usage.

• Operate within real production constraints, including latency, cost, reliability, and safety.
