Senior AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and implementation of machine learning systems and applications based on large language models.

• Tailor and refine large language models to cater to specific domain needs.

• Construct NLP pipelines to derive structured information from intricate, unstructured documents.

• Convert vague product objectives into precise technical and machine learning execution strategies.

• Collaborate directly with product signals, user insights, and backlog contributions to prioritize development tasks.

• Establish evaluation systems to assess model performance and identify regressions.

• Design automated benchmarking pipelines for ongoing model evaluation.

• Define significant performance indicators linked to real-world results.

• Create feedback mechanisms that utilize user corrections to enhance model performance continuously.

• Implement computer vision methods to extract information from PDFs and scanned documents.

• Develop AI agents that engage with web systems through automation tools like Playwright or Selenium.

• Collaborate across system architecture, infrastructure, training, and inference pipelines.

• Construct scalable machine learning systems and their supporting infrastructure from scratch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Python development.

• More than 4 years in AI/ML engineering positions.

• Extensive experience in building and deploying systems based on large language models (e.g., Claude, OpenAI models).

• Proficient in utilizing contemporary LLM workflows including prompting, evaluation, and iteration.

• Experience in developing NLP systems focused on information extraction or document comprehension.

• Solid understanding of model evaluation, benchmarking, and performance assessment.

• Experience with JavaScript/Node.js and React in production settings.

• Familiarity with MongoDB and AWS.

• Proven experience in creating systems that incorporate feedback loops or facilitate continuous learning.

• Able to thrive in uncertain environments lacking fully defined specifications.

• Excellent communication skills (upper intermediate level or above in English).
