This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more countries.
• Act as the Lead Learning Experience Designer for GA programs that focus on AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, technical skills, leadership, role-specific applications, or enhancing workplace productivity.
• Take ownership of the client-facing design process, encompassing requirements gathering, defining learning outcomes, project timelines, scope, resource allocation, development strategies, and ensuring content quality.
• Collaborate with sales, product, client success, solutions, and delivery teams to convert client and learner requirements into effective learning solutions.
• Assist in pre-sales and client discussions by identifying skill needs, learner personas, program objectives, audience preparedness, and learning pathways.
• Assess relevant tools, workflows, use cases, and workplace contexts, including AI applications.
• Establish learning outcomes that encourage practical application, enhance workflow, improve productivity, promote behavior change, and ensure responsible technology use.
• Design and produce instructor-led learning experiences and materials such as presentations, hands-on labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, learner workbooks, and workplace exercises.
• Develop activities utilizing workplace and AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Midjourney, and NotebookLM.
• Simplify complex technical concepts into well-structured, accessible learning experiences in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Curate and refresh content to align with industry trends, tool capabilities, best practices, accessibility, and responsible usage.
• Design learning paths and interactive exercises, including tool walkthroughs, prompt refinement, workflow mapping, coding challenges, technical labs, and business simulations.
• Integrate adult learning principles, learning science, accessibility standards, measurable outcomes, and workplace transferability.
• Adhere to GA’s design, development, quality assurance, productization, and curriculum standards.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, resources, subject matter experts, instructional designers, assessment specialists, instructors, vendors, contractors, and freelancers.
• Create instructor enablement materials and guide instructors in delivering applied, interactive learning experiences.
• Customize programs for enterprise clients, startups, government entities, technical teams, business leaders, and cross-functional employees.
• Gather and analyze learning-impact data for ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with translation vendors and localization partners as necessary.
• Standardize reusable learning patterns, components, activities, templates, assessments, and program structures.
• Contribute to GA’s scalable repository of reusable learning components and assist in the evolution of the learning portfolio.
• Over 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in creating instructor-led training content.
• Proven track record in designing learning experiences for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
• Experience in creating presentations, facilitator guides, activities, assessments, case studies, labs, simulations, and learner resources.
• Skilled in managing clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners throughout the content development process.
• Strong familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
• Capability to design for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on proficiency with current AI tools.
• Experience in designing learning experiences related to AI, emerging technology, data, digital transformation, technical skills, or workplace technology adoption.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, responsible use, and enterprise AI integration.
• Background in designing practical, hands-on learning activities.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools.
• Willingness to adjust work hours for meetings across different time zones.
• Technical skills in AI, data science, or programming, including Python, APIs, TensorFlow, or PyTorch are advantageous.
• Familiarity with GitHub or similar technical collaboration tools is a plus.
