This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as the main technical authority for the Squad, guiding technical choices and the technological trajectory of solutions.
• Lead development teams technically within an agile framework, fostering organization, productivity, technical excellence, and reliable delivery.
• Establish, implement, and uphold development standards, technical governance, and best practices in software engineering.
• Perform technical code reviews that emphasize quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and standardization.
• Assist in addressing complex technical challenges, eliminating critical barriers, and stabilizing team technical environments.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring technical coherence across different streams and teams.
• Technically spearhead restructuring initiatives, team recovery efforts, reduction of technical debt, and enhancement of development maturity.
• Foster the technical advancement of team members through mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Project Management, Scrum Masters, and other key stakeholders.
• Offer technical support for decision-making, taking into account systemic implications, risks, scalability, supportability, and solution evolution.
• Familiarity with modern software architecture (microservices, REST APIs, messaging).
• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with system integration and distributed architecture.
• Proficiency in source control (Git).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker and similar technologies).
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and regression tests).
• Awareness of application security and OWASP best practices.
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, and observability.
• Familiarity with modeling and integration with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in technical governance and the definition of development standards.
• Strong hands-on experience as a technical leader, beyond that of a senior developer.
• Ability to structure and mature technical processes within teams.
• Experience in defining development workflows, versioning policies, and quality criteria.
• Practical experience in managing technical debt and providing evolutionary support.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, pipelines, and the automation of development processes.
• Ability to make decisions based on technical impact and systemic perspective.
• Experience in resolving technical disputes and aligning efforts across teams.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure in demanding, high-stakes environments.
• Strong, clear, and mature communication skills with both technical and executive audiences.
• A collaborative, organized, analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Lead by example with a technical influence and ownership mentality regarding deliverables.
