This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and create comprehensive data pipelines from start to finish utilizing Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks).
• Develop scalable data architectures by employing medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns and lakehouse frameworks.
• Construct efficient and optimized ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and semi-structured data.
• Integrate data from various enterprise sources including SQL Server, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Create and design semantic models and data models aimed at reporting and analytics.
• Develop optimized data models (facts, dimensions, relationships) specifically for Power BI reporting.
• Facilitate Direct Lake / real-time analytics scenarios and enhance reporting performance.
• Collaborate closely with BI teams to ensure the delivery of high-performance dashboards and reports.
• Engage directly with US stakeholders to grasp business requirements and reporting expectations.
• Take part in gathering requirements, conducting solution walkthroughs, and participating in design discussions.
• Convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide consistent status updates, demonstrations, and technical insights to client teams.
• Define and execute Fabric-based data architectures that adhere to enterprise standards.
• Uphold data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
• Enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency across data pipelines and storage.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Platform.
• Practical experience with:
• - Fabric Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows / Pipelines.
• - Power BI (Data modeling, DAX, performance optimization).
• - SQL, Python, PySpark.
• Proficiency in data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
• Experience in constructing scalable data pipelines and distributed processing systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving.
• 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• At least 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric or a modern analytics stack.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles involving US stakeholders.
