Associate Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Aid in the construction and upkeep of data pipelines that facilitate the movement and transformation of data across our systems.

• Craft and enhance SQL queries for data extraction, cleansing, and preparation for analysis.

• Create Python scripts to automate data-related tasks and assist in ETL/ELT processes.

• Provide support to the team in utilizing our cloud data platform (Google Cloud Platform).

• Assist in monitoring scheduled data workflows and addressing basic troubleshooting issues.

• Contribute to data quality assessments and documentation efforts.

• Engage in learning and evolving within our complete data stack with mentorship from senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline — recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• A solid understanding of SQL — capable of writing queries that utilize JOINs, filtering, aggregation, and grouping.

• A strong foundation in Python — proficient in core programming concepts (data types, loops, functions, and library usage).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A strong desire to learn new tools and technologies.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Must be available to work US shift hours.
