This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Lead and guide a team of technical experts to deliver top-notch solutions.
• Supervise the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with best practices and timelines.
• Manage change control processes to facilitate the smooth implementation of system updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Perform critical analysis and problem-solving to tackle complex technical and functional challenges.
• Support and enhance existing C/Unix-based applications and systems.
• Promote continuous improvement in release cadence and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic planning and the development of roadmaps for technical initiatives.
• Design, develop, install, test, and document application software, including server, client, and web components.
• Facilitate coordination between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are precise and deliver the expected ROI for clients.
• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed application solution designs for clients.
• Create technical documentation and test plans to support integration and deployment.
• 9+ years of experience in application development, technical leadership, and batch programming using C, Unix, and Linux.
• 3+ years of experience in leading technical teams.
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data structures (SQL Server or Oracle).
• Experience in system integration and scripting.
• Experience with Longterm Care/Longterm Services & Support is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical concepts into business terminology.
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience in change management and release planning.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proven ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
