Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take technical ownership for the creation and delivery of product features as a key member of an agile team within our global Engineering organization.

• Serve as a subject matter expert across various functional areas.

• Participate in a Scrum Team utilizing Agile principles and methodologies.

• Resolve complex bugs, propose solutions, and enhance the existing system.

• Investigate and research new technologies to remain current on the latest technical advancements in the industry.

• Mentor team members on the design and implementation of features.

• Oversee code reviews for multiple teams.

• Collaborate with partner teams within Zaloni on client projects.

• Delegate tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in actively developing web and big data applications.

• Proficient in Java, Maven, Spring, and Hibernate, with the capability to work independently with these technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with clean code, software reuse, refactoring, and secure coding practices.

• Extensive experience in API design and implementation.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with agile methodologies.

• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills.

• Strong familiarity with cloud technologies, with specific experience in at least one (1) major cloud platform.

• In-depth knowledge of big data technologies such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, and Hive, along with practical experience in the Cloud, including EMR, HDInsight, and Google DataProc.

• Strong grasp of essential programming concepts and Java implementations, including data structures, algorithms, OOP, exception handling, collections, multi-threaded programming, and RDBMS fundamentals.
