This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Take ownership of and enhance backend architecture for systems that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Design and implement intricate transactional workflows including payments, billing, user management, analytics, and integrations.

• Spearhead backend development utilizing Java, Go, Python, or other relevant backend technologies.

• Provide mentorship to engineers and offer technical guidance throughout the team.

• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and senior stakeholders to deliver features with significant impact.

• Maintain code quality through reviews, documentation, adherence to best practices, and tooling.

• Address infrastructure and DevOps requirements, encompassing CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, and monitoring.

• A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience, preferably in SaaS or product-driven organizations.

• Strong expertise in backend technologies such as Java, Go, Python, or similar languages.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.

• A solid understanding of system design, API architecture, and database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL).

• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team of 6-8 engineers.

• Proven track record in leading technical projects or teams.

• Familiarity with SaaS workflows including subscriptions, multi-tenancy, and usage tracking.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as Terraform.
