Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the engineering team in the design and implementation of features across both front-end (Angular) and back-end (Node.js) technologies.

• System Architecture: Create, maintain, and deploy scalable software solutions across diverse platforms while contributing to system design discussions that focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

• AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services (such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) within a serverless architecture.

• Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.

• Problem Solving: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve intricate software challenges.

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with product owners to define software requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Technical Leadership: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Best Practices & Code Reviews: Establish best practices for software development, testing, and deployment. Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Experience: Over 6 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or mentorship role.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Javascript and Typescript, with experience in Javascript frameworks such as NodeJS, NestJS, and Angular.

• Database Expertise: Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, DynamoDB, Cloud Firestore, and PostgreSQL.

• Cloud Technologies & DevOps: Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Docker, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools.

• Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Leadership & Project Management: Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
