📋 Description

• In the role of Technical Lead for the Accounting Software team, you will steer the team’s technical strategy and play a crucial role in the design and architecture of Accounting Software systems.

• Direct design initiatives for API management and a suite of enterprise services.

• Develop, enhance, and deliver enterprise-grade API products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

• Collaborate across various business functions and technical domains.

• Contribute to large-scale, intricate projects, executing development tasks through to completion.

• Take ownership of monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production issues.

• Collaborate with the team to design and architect complex systems, actively engaging in design reviews.

• Lead and mentor junior developers, nurturing their professional growth and development.

• Ensure high quality in team outputs through guidance, code reviews, and the establishment of best practices.

• Work together with cross-functional partners (Product, UX, QA) to ensure the team adheres to project timelines.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain high quality and standards across codebases.

• Provide technical assistance to stakeholder groups, including Customer Success.

• Collaborate closely with QA to uphold software quality and enhance automation coverage.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• 7 to 10 years of experience in building, integrating, securing, and architecting software solutions.

• Prior experience in developing enterprise-grade APIs is advantageous.

• Experience in leading a team is a plus.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) languages such as Python, Java, or similar server-side web application development languages.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, CSS frameworks, HTML, and JavaScript.

• Experience with relational databases like Postgres and MySQL.

• Proficiency in SQL database schema design and query optimization.

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Server is a plus but not mandatory.

• You should be flexible and adaptable, as you will be working in a fast-paced startup environment.
