This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Integrate and oversee all character combat animations within Unreal Engine.
• Refine combat timing, transitions, cancels, anticipation, hit reactions, and more to achieve optimal responsiveness and impact.
• Enhance gameplay experience through precise synchronization with VFX and audio elements.
• Actively participate as a playtester, incorporating your product insights along with those from other players or team members, including designers and developers.
• Collaborate with the design team by providing thoughtful feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality of action combat.
• Troubleshoot and optimize the overall animation pipeline for interactions between players and enemies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Animator on released action combat titles.
• Strong expertise in Unreal Engine animation components and the integration of animations from Maya.
• Profound understanding of animation principles in relation to gameplay.
• Extensive experience with character rigging and skinning using Maya or similar tools.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing refined in-game combat and gameplay animations.
• Capability to work iteratively and independently within a small team setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a true passion for enhancing combat experiences.
• Proficiency in English.
