📋 Description

• Design, prototype, and execute gameplay systems and mechanics utilizing Unreal Engine, primarily through Blueprints.

• Serve as a technical liaison between Game Design and Engineering, ensuring implementation is feasible, scalable, and clear.

• Develop and maintain reusable gameplay setups, tools, and systems to assist designers and content creators.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure gameplay systems align with technical requirements and production constraints.

• Aid in the iteration and optimization of gameplay features in conjunction with Engineering.

• Debug and refine gameplay systems throughout all phases of development.

• Assist designers by enhancing workflows, documentation, and tools within Unreal.

• Work closely with QA to identify, replicate, and resolve gameplay-related challenges.

• Participate in task estimation, risk assessment, and planning alongside Leads and Production.

• Keep clear documentation of systems, workflows, and implementation guidelines.

• Stay informed about Unreal Engine features, industry trends, and emerging best practices in game design and technical implementation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in a Technical Designer, Gameplay Designer, or a similar hybrid role within the video game industry.

• Strong practical experience with Unreal Engine, notably with Blueprints and gameplay implementation workflows.

• Solid grasp of gameplay systems, player interaction, game feel, and systemic design principles.

• Ability to work closely with engineers on the technical implementation and gameplay systems.

• Experience in developing and optimizing gameplay features across multiple platforms (PC, consoles, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for breaking down complex systems into clear, actionable solutions.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with Designers, Engineers, Artists, QA, and Production teams.

• Familiarity with debugging and gameplay iteration processes within Unreal.

• Experience working through various development stages, from pre-production to release.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and articulate technical systems clearly.

• Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
