Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance the communication strategy, execute design projects (both print and digital), and produce materials for industry trade shows and events.

• Gain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and customer requirements.

• Capture photo and video content using our in-house studio while in the Mentor office, including but not limited to: product and material photography, event content capture, and employee engagement activities.

• Convert business and product specifications into innovative concepts and prototypes.

• Provide mentorship, share knowledge, and coach as a subject matter expert in graphic design practices, creative philosophy, and iterative prototyping.

• Collaborate with external vendors (freelance designers, videographers, agencies, etc.) to oversee the timely delivery of project milestones.

• Strong project management skills are crucial.

• Deliver impactful presentations and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, or a related discipline.

• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite at an expert level.

• Experience in photo and video capture and editing.

• Familiarity with label and packaging projects is preferred.

• Background in a corporate or agency setting is advantageous.

• Strong interpersonal skills and project management capabilities are essential.

• Candidates must demonstrate self-motivation, a desire to learn, and a commitment to driving action and execution.

• Creative and effective problem-solving abilities are required.

• Ability to communicate clearly and develop concrete proposals while actively listening to and incorporating feedback from others.
